Students will be introduced to a variety of creative processing tools to be used either during or after the experience. The use of a field journal for reflection notes, as well as for processing through creative pursuits like sketching or painting will be introduced, as will group-based processing tools like formal debriefs, creating skits and collaborative art projects.

Learning outcomes

1. Use of a reflection journal to process personal experiences;
2. Use of an art journal to process personal experiences;
3. Use of a reflection paper to process personal experiences;
4. An understanding of expressionism through the creating of an expressionistic / expressive artwork; And will experience the process of a collaborative art project as a group processing tool
