Course Description

The course content includes steam usage and management, basic electricity principles and basic knowledge of steam turbines.

Course learning outcomes

1. Student will describe the principles of steam usage and management with regard to steam engines and turbines.
2. Student will explain the basic principles of electricity.
3. Student will explain basic principles and function of steam turbines.
4. Student will explain the differences between the third, second, and first class Boiler Operator Licenses.
