Course Description

Provides a purposeful review of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996, Title II -- Administrative Simplification Provisions. Course focus is on the standards and compliance requirements under the HIPAA Privacy Rule, Security Rule, Breach Notification Rule, and Enforcement Rule.
