Course Description
Introduces advanced principles in the Gas Metal Arc Welding of various joint configurations,specialized uses of the Gas Metal Arc Welding process, applications for the Gas Metal Arc Welding Process, and welding variables in the Gas Metal Arc Welding Process.
Course learning outcomes
1. Demonstrate safe practices in the MATC Welding Lab using Gas Medal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes.
2. Demonstrate appropriate set up, maintenance, and use of GMAW equipment.
3. Weld common joint assemblies using GMAW processes welding industry standards.
4. Evaluate GMAW welds using advanced level evaluation possesses and practices in accordance with welding industry standards.
