Course Description

Basic three-lead electrocardiograph interpretation. Open to allied health, exercise science, and nursing students.

Course learning outcomes

1. Interpret EKG tracings and identify normal and abnormal rhythms.
2. Identify life-threatening rhythms.
3. Recognize appropriate pharmacological measures and medical interventions for treatment.
