Course Description

Practical application of classroom theory through participation in Magic Circle Theatre and Magic Circle Dance Theatre productions. Credit can be earned in three areas: dance, technical theater and acting.

Course learning outcomes

1. Exhibit understanding of theatre performance/rehearsal etiquette.
2. Prepare and perform an assigned role employing appropriate script analysis techniques and adherence to the director’s vision.
3. Rehearse and memorize a role and the blocking.
4. Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, and ensemble attitude.
