Forest Ecology - Career Pathway Certificate of Completion (CPCC)

Description

The Forest Ecology Career Pathway Certificate of Completion is designed or those who hold degrees in other areas or are already in the work force and are looking to enhance their skills related to the practical aspects of forest ecology and dendrology and their applications.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Apply ecological concepts of species, communities, succession, and forest structural development to implement natural resource management.

While this program has no formal entrance requirement, individual courses may have prerequisites which must be met before enrollment.

Performance Standards

  • Academic Requirements:
    • Students must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA to earn a COCC certificate or degree.
    • All courses in the program must be completed with a grade of C or higher.
