Course Description

Reviews the principles of flight, aircraft systems, pertinent federal aviation regulations and airman publications and service in order to prepare the student for the FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot airman knowledge exam.

Course learning outcomes

1. Develop commercial pilot level understanding of flight instruments, weather, performance, systems, Federal Aviation regulations (FARs), and cross country planning as they relate to commercial flight operations.
2. Prepare for the FAA Commercial Pilot written knowledge exam.
