Course Description

Surveys current UAS platforms, sensors, and terminology. Explores integration and application of UAS resources in United States Airspace. Focuses on building and executing simulated operations in a noncombative environment.

Course learning outcomes

1. Demonstrate knowledge of multiple UAS platforms, sensors and terminology.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules regulations governing UAS in Untied States Airspace.
3. Demonstrate basic proficiency in planning executing UAS commercial operations.
